Feeling a little Holiday

I have had the same store bought Tree Skirt for almost ten years and It came to my attention that none of my Holiday Decorations - Minus Halloween are Home made. I decided that this was the year to replace my Tree skirt with a homemade and quilted one and maybe even a table runner or two (These have not happened yet!)

I chose the French Braid Obsession Tree skirt pattern by Jane Miller. A little caution to those who like me fell in love with this pattern. I am an advanced quilter but her instructions are ones that you have to read one or two times to gleam what the actual step is. That being said, once I figured out the steps, I think I might have to make another one of these in the future!
