This project started as an attempt at a new quilting technique that quickly became an obsession. I am calling it the "All that glitters" as every rosette have a metallic material.

I can quilt any time, anywhere and not have to lug around my sewing machine! This project even kept me sane when I was in a 4-hour Bison related traffic jam in Yellowstone. 

This has also become a great way to de-stash.

This is my own design - or at least I have not seen this particular design anywhere, but each rosette uses 55 individual pieces. 36 half hexies, 7 hexies, 6 diamonds & 6Jewels. I am not sure how I am going to finish this project or if it is going to evolve into something new. Only time will tell.
